    Project Overview:

    This project was a housing scheme for Countryside Properties, providing 600nr new houses in the Essex area. Our works included the installation of new drainage runs to the main spine road through site, supplying and laying Bredon Gravel Footpaths between housing blocks along with supplying and installing a new access road to the pumping station using the Grasscrete System. Finally, we had a few minor drainage remedials to rectify to some existing drain runs on the site. In summary, the works were completed to a high standard with the client very happy with the quality of works we produced.

    Project Challenges & Solutions:

    This project had a couple of minor challenges. One being the weather which affected the ground conditions, and two being the area of lay down for materials. The saturated ground along with limited storage areas for materials resulted in longer durations of transporting materials around site. In order to mitigate these issues, we carried out the works over two phases, with the second phase being
    planned and completed during the spring time.
